As disciples of Jesus, Christians have already been commissioned to preach the Gospel and to make disciples of all nations. Anyone can go on a missions trip or participate in an outreach, but disciples are called to live a missional lifestyle, reaching those whom the Lord has put within their paths.

 

The Bible tells us in (Acts 8:4) that, “those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the Word.” They were not on a missions trip, they were missional. Pastor Kevin, Sr. Pastor of Calvary Chapel Clayton, has seen his congregation grow in maturity and numbers through missions and outreach. He’s seeing entire families serve together; children becoming excited about serving the Lord, fathers being empowered to lead their families and women filled with the joy of the Lord. He believes the Lord has led us to host another conference with a simple vision. Encourage individuals, families, and congregations to live the missionary lifestyle without packing a suitcase or planning a trip.
