Atlanta Missions Trip - March 2018

From March 15-17, 2018 groups from Calvary Chapel Clayton, Wilmington and Winston-Salem joined together for a Missions Trip down to Atlanta, GA. Together, we hit the streets of Atlanta sharing the Gospel and handing out lunches to those in need and those without Jesus. Every morning we began with a time of worship, prayer and Bible study followed by making each and every lunch that we would hand out that afternoon.

With unity, love and power we went. Children, youth and adults prayed with boldness and approached the lost with compassion and love. Most everyone we came in contact with wanted and needed a hug and prayer. We prayed with them, we loved them, we cried with them, danced and even laughed. We even ran into other fellow believers who encouraged and prayed for us! As we handed out lunches we realized the lunch was so much more than just food, it was a way to their soul. It's impossible to share the Gospel to someone who is hungry. The food met their physical need, giving Jesus the opportunity to meet their spiritual need.
